Player 2 Terms
These terms apply when you offer sessions on Estreamerz as a Player 2. They add to our Terms of Service.
You're independent
As a Player 2 you're an independent contractor, not an employee, partner or agent of Estreamerz. You choose your games, prices, schedule, and whether to accept work. You're responsible for your own equipment, internet, and the accounts you play on.
What you earn
- You keep 85% of your price for each session. Estreamerz keeps a 15% platform fee. Stripe's small bank fee comes out of your Friday payout (see Payouts).
- Player 1s also pay Estreamerz a separate booking fee (8% of the session price, at least $0.50). It's added on top of your price and never comes out of your 85%.
- Tips are split the same way: you keep 85%.
- Support (money a Player 1 sends from your profile, with no session) is split like a tip. It's held for 48 hours and paid in your Friday payout. Big or unusual Support may be checked by an Estreamerz Team Member first, and Support from a payment that turns out to be fraud or is charged back can be reversed.
- You earn when a session starts. If the Player 1 doesn't join, you are paid for the full booking only when you stay in the session room until the booked time ends. If they join after the late window shown on the booking, you are paid only when you stay until that same end time. The session does not run longer because they joined late. If they tap I'm not coming, you can leave and you are still paid for the full booking.
- If you leave that room early during a no-show, or after they joined past the late window, you are not paid automatically. The booking goes to admin review.
- You aren't paid if you don't show up. Once the late window has passed and you still haven't opened the room, the Player 1 can cancel on their own and get their credits back. A session cancelled by agreement also isn't paid.
Play now
- Play now requests go to you only when you're online, play that game on the console the Player 1 picked, sell it the way they asked (by the game or by time), have nothing booked while it would run, and your price for the whole length is at or under their max.
- If you accept, it's booked right away for the length they picked at your own price. Open the room right after. Passing never counts against you, and you can turn requests off any time.
Subscriptions
- You can offer monthly plans (up to the number of tiers the site allows) with a price, a discount on your sessions, free minutes each month and other perks you list. Perks you promise have to be ones you actually deliver.
- You keep 85% of each subscription payment (the platform fee shown in your settings applies). It's paid on Fridays with your sessions, after the same 48-hour hold.
- Free minutes are paid for from the subscription money. They aren't paid again as a separate booking.
- A new price applies to new subscribers right away. People already subscribed keep their price until a later bill, after at least 7 days' notice. Turning subscriptions off stops renewals; current subscribers keep their perks until their paid month ends.
Squad nights
- Size is on you. The minimum and maximum players include you. You're responsible for picking a size the game allows in one squad or party.
- Minimum. If fewer than your minimum have signed up by the decision time you set, the squad night cancels on its own and everyone is refunded in full.
- Drop-out requests. Players can't just drop out. They ask you, and you approve (they're refunded in full and the waitlist moves up) or decline (they stay in). Requests you don't answer end when it starts.
- Changes. If you cancel, everyone is refunded in full. If you change the time, game or size, everyone is told and can drop out with a full refund without asking you.
- The room. You can start the Discord room from 10 minutes before. If you don't, it opens on its own at the start time. A squad night blocks that time, so you can't be booked for anything else then.
- Showing up. If you never join the voice room, everyone is refunded and the squad night isn't paid.
- Getting paid. You keep 85% of each player's price, paid on a Friday after the squad night happens and the 48-hour hold clears.
Payouts
- Payouts are made through Stripe Connect. You set up payouts from Account → Credits, and Stripe verifies your identity and collects your bank and tax details.
- ID check: every Player 2 must be 18 or older and pass an identity check before they can be found or booked. Stripe's payout setup is that check: it confirms your ID and your age. Until Stripe verifies you, your profile stays hidden from Player 1s. Estreamerz never sees your ID document.
- No guaranteed bookings: being verified makes you bookable, but Estreamerz doesn't guarantee any number of bookings or any amount of earnings. How often you're booked depends on Player 1 demand, your games, price and hours.
- Payday is every Friday for every Player 2. Each session's earnings (and tips) are held for 48 hours after it ends, so no-shows and refunds can be sorted out.
- Everything that has cleared the 48-hour hold by Friday at 10:00 AM Eastern Time is paid that Friday in a single payout. Earnings that are still on hold at that time, for example from a session that ended Wednesday night, are paid the following Friday.
- Stripe then deposits the payout in your bank on its normal schedule, usually within 2 business days. Earnings under a session that is disputed or under review are paid once it's resolved. If a payout fails (for example, because of a bank detail problem), we'll retry and let you know.
- Stripe bank fee: Stripe charges a small fee when money goes to your bank: 25¢ + 0.25% of the payout. It comes out of your Friday payout, so you pay it once a week, not per game. Example: $85.00 owed for the week is paid out as $84.54.
- We may hold or reverse a payout while a report, refund or chargeback is reviewed, or if these terms were broken.
Taxes
You're responsible for your own taxes. Stripe may issue tax forms (such as a 1099) for your earnings based on the information you provide to Stripe.
Your profile
- Be accurate about your games, ranks and skills.
- Only upload photos, voice clips and music you have the rights to use.
- Link Discord to go live. Player 1s can only find and book you once it's connected.
- Keep your open times up to date and show up for every booking.
- List the consoles you play each game on. Player 1s pick one of those when they book, so only list ones you'll really play on.
Streaming your sessions
- You can stream while you play. When they book (or sign up for a squad night), each Player 1 chooses whether they're okay to be on stream and whether you can use their name. Your session card shows their answer.
- Okay to be on stream: their voice can be on your stream, and the session timer widget shows.
- Not okay: keep Discord voice out of your stream audio. The session timer hides itself.
- Only say or show their name if they ticked “Show my name”. If they ask, hide their in-game name too.
- Squad nights: keep Discord voice off stream unless everyone going said okay. Your squad night card shows who did.
- Player 1s can change their answer any time, so go by what the card says now.
Conduct
Follow our Community Guidelines. Never ask for payment, tips or contact details off Estreamerz. Repeated no-shows, low ratings backed by reports, or breaking the rules can lead to removal from the marketplace.
