Privacy Policy
This explains what information eStreamerz, LLC (“Estreamerz,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Waitlist and account: email address (usually the verified email on your Discord account), your Discord user ID and username (the waitlist is joined with Discord), whether you're a Player 1 or Player 2, a reserved handle, the game you play, your confirmation that you're 18 or older, and (for accounts) your date of birth. We use your date of birth only to check your age; it's never shown to other players.
- Profile: display name, bio, tagline, photos, voice intro, profile song, games, ranks, prices, schedule, timezone, languages, platforms, play styles, social links, and optionally your gender.
- Discord: when you join the waitlist or connect Discord, Discord shares your user ID, username and verified email with us, and lets us add you to the Estreamerz Discord server. We use them to save your spot, give you a waitlist or subscriber role, create private session and squad night channels, and send you direct messages about your spot and your bookings. We never see your Discord password or your messages outside our server.
- Activity: bookings (including the console you'll play on), Play now requests, subscriptions, squad night sign-ups and drop-out requests, messages between players, reviews, reports, blocks, support tickets, follows and gifts.
- Payments: credit purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive limited details (like the amount, status and the last four digits of a card), not your full card number. Player 2s give their identity, tax and bank details directly to Stripe for payouts.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, approximate country, browser and device information, and the page that referred you (including ad campaign tags).
- Cookies: we use cookies to keep you signed in and secure. We use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and waitlist signups from our ads. You can limit ad tracking in your browser and in your Meta ad settings.
- When you're online, which helps show your status (online, away, in a game) to other players.
How we use it
- To run Estreamerz: accounts, profiles, search, bookings, sessions, credits and payouts.
- To send messages you need by email, on-site notifications, phone alerts and Discord direct messages from our bot, such as sign-in codes, booking confirmations, reschedule or cancel requests, subscription renewals, squad night changes, and waitlist updates.
- To keep the community safe: review reports, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our rules.
- To improve the service and measure our marketing.
Messages and voice sessions
- Messages are stored. Text messages and voice notes you send through Estreamerz are saved on our servers so they reach the other player and so we can keep the community safe and settle disputes.
- Deleting a chat removes it from your own inbox only. The other player keeps their copy, and we keep ours for the retention period below.
- Automatic screening. Messages are checked automatically before they're sent. Messages with sexual content, or that ask to pay outside Estreamerz, are blocked and saved as a report for our team to review.
- Who reads them. Estreamerz staff only read a conversation when there's a reason to: a report, a help request or dispute about a booking, a suspected safety or fraud issue, or a legal requirement. Every time staff open a conversation or play a voice note, it's recorded in an internal audit log with the reason. We never read messages for marketing or advertising, and we never sell them.
- Voice sessions aren't recorded. Sessions happen in private Discord voice rooms. We don't record or listen to the audio. We do keep a session log of when each player joined and left the room, which we use for no-shows, payouts and disputes. Discord's own privacy policy applies to your use of Discord.
What other people can see
Player 2 profiles are public, including name, photos, voice intro, song, bio, games, prices, open times, reviews and online status. If a Player 2 sets a gender, it's used for the “Play with” filter. Player 1s' names and profiles are shown to the Player 2s they book, message, subscribe to, or sign up with for a squad night. A squad night host sees who signed up, their subscriber tier, the console they picked and what they paid, plus any note sent with a drop-out request. A Player 2 sees the star rating a Player 1 gave each session; the written review is on their public profile. Private 👍/👎 ratings Player 2s give Player 1s are only seen by other Player 2s. If you allow it in your settings, a Player 2 can see that you viewed their profile. Your email address is never shown to other users.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Estreamerz, under their own privacy terms:
- Stripe (payments and payouts) · Discord (session channels) · Railway (hosting and database) · Resend (email) · Meta (ad measurement).
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.
Requests from law enforcement. We only disclose the content of your messages in response to valid legal process (such as a search warrant), with your consent, or when we believe in good faith that there's an emergency involving danger of death or serious physical injury. Where the law requires it, we report child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
How long we keep it
- Account and profile: while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your profile and public content.
- Messages and voice notes: up to 2 years after they're sent, then they're deleted automatically. If a conversation is part of an open report, help request or dispute, we keep it until that's resolved. Messages from a deleted account follow the same 2-year rule, so we can still look into a report made after someone leaves.
- Bookings, session logs, payments and payouts: as long as we need them for accounting, taxes, chargebacks and legal reasons (usually up to 7 years).
- Reports, blocks and safety records: as long as needed to keep the community safe, including to stop banned people from coming back.
- If someone tells us they're under 18, we delete their messages right away (see Age below).
Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile any time, and delete your account from Account → Security.
- Email support@estreamerz.com to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, and we'll honor them as required by law.
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails. We'll still send account and booking emails.
Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed sign-in codes and passwords, and limited access to data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your account details private.
Age
Estreamerz is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Everyone confirms they're 18 or older to join the waitlist and gives their date of birth before using an account, and every Player 2's identity is verified by Stripe, our payment partner, before they can be booked. If someone tells us they're under 18, we close the account and delete their profile, photos and messages, keeping only their email address so it can't be used to sign up again. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.
Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date at the top. If changes are significant, we'll let you know.
